We strive to provide the best customer service possible. When a TUSD student transfers to a different school district or charter school and the new school requests educational records, TUSD has 10 school days after the request to forward the requested records to the new school. When the parent of a TUSD student wants to review and inspect their child’s TUSD educational records, TUSD is required to respond without unnecessary delay and not later than 45 days after the request was made.
If parents believe that information in special education records is inaccurate or misleading, they can request that TUSD amend the information. There are some procedural steps. For information about this process, contact the special education case manager at your child’s school or phone an Administrative Assistant in the Exceptional Education office at 520-225-6610.
If you require general education records or 504 records, please contact the last school site your student attended.
