Academia Huitzilin Egg Drop

This week, the Mexican American Student Services department started the Academia Huitzlin STEM Camp, where 3rd-5th grade students are part of unique STEM classes Monday - Wednesday and take part in field trips on Thursdays throughout the month of June.

And it seems to have already picked up steam! By the second day of classes, students were participating in an egg drop. Students worked hard to build a contraption that would keep their eggs safe from a 7-foot fall – and most survived!
