Tucson Unified Assessment & Evaluation Program Manager Daniel Sanchez has been recognized as the Administrator of the Year for 2024 by the Arizona Technology in Education Association.AZTEA recognizes educators, support personnel, administrators and community members who have demonstrated exemplary commitment to educational technology.
Daniel earned the award for his successful implementation of a learning management system (LMS) based training program for over 100 school test coordinators. His model inspired other departments and schools to adopt similar approaches, and he presented it at the Arizona Assessment Conference in September 2024, where it received recognition from other Arizona school districts.
