Middle school mariachi players were selected to participate in a day of workshops on January 22 led by mariachi teachers from various schools in the district. The following day, high schoolers from across the district converged for a similar experience, culminating in a joint performance at Tucson High on January 24 for the Middle and High School Honor Mariachi Festival.
