Music students from Erickson Elementary and Mary Meredith K-12 played at the annual Día De Los Muertos celebration in the UA Bookstore on Thursday evening.
Under the guidance of Carlos Ramirez, a TUSD Exceptional Education teacher and music coordinator, the students performed pieces on guitar and drums for the crowd. TUSD's Exceptional Education Department, with director Dr. Sabrina Salmon, and Mary Meredith K-12, with Principal Judy Mitchell, were recognized by UA's Franke Honors College and received certificates for participation.
