Sabino High School social studies teacher Sarah Smith has been accepted into the 2023 Peace Teachers Program at the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP). She's one of 22 educators from across the country, and the only teacher from Arizona, selected for this program.
The Peace Teachers Program is a virtual professional development opportunity for middle and high school teachers. Participants receive education, resources and support to strengthen their teaching of international conflict and the possibilities of peace.
