Two Tucson High Magnet School teachers were recognized by Concord General Contracting as Teachers of the Year.
Cody Hamrick and Lixin Zhang were surprised in front of their students on May 22, where they were each presented with a jumbo $750 Amazon gift card to be used for their classroom, as well as a $100 Visa gift card to use for themselves.
Mr. Hamrick and Ms. Zhang are among 18 winners selected from an applicant pool of nearly 800 teachers submitted from 10 school districts. Congratulations!
