Arizona State Retirement Services (ASRS)
TUSD is an ASRS Employer which means that all of our regular employees who average 20 hours a week will automatically contribute towards a retirement savings account. The Arizona State Retirement System Defined Benefit Plan provides for lifelong monthly retirement income for qualified members who have dedicated their career to serving the citizens of Arizona.

Before beginning an assignment, be sure you read and understand the Return-to-Work Guidelines listed on the ASRS Website that apply to you as an ASRS retiree. You must be able to accurately identify your retirement date, and if you used “Normal” or “Early” Retirement when returning to an ASRS employer.If you would like to return to work with TUSD after retirement and you meet the ASRS post-retirement guidelines, please visit Educational Services Inc.
