Summer Programs 2024

For June of 2025, a four-week summer program is being offered.  For current K-7 grade students this will be by invitation only. High School credit recovery will be available to all current 9-11 grade students. All current 8th graders transitioning to High School next year are eligible for Freshman Academy.

8-11

Freshmen Academy — Supports incoming 9th grade students to transition from middle school to high school while building math, reading and study skills. Held in-person at all high schools and TUVA for incoming TUVA freshmen. (UHS students attend Boost and should contact UHS for information.)


AP Bootcamp — Introduces any high school student to Advanced Placement curriculum and rigor. Held in-person at all high schools except Cholla and UHS. Contact your counselor for additional information
 
High School Summer Program — For current high school students looking for credit acceleration and credit recovery options. Held in-person at all high schools.
 
FREE Summer Meals — Food Services will be providing FREE breakfast and lunch at all schools to support summer school programs as follows:​​​​​​
  • Elementary Schools:
    • June 3-27 Monday-Thursday
    • Breakfast: 7:30-8:00am
    • Lunch: scheduled lunch times during the program as determined by each school
  • K-8 and Middle Schools:
    • June 3-27 Monday-Thursday
    • Breakfast 8:30-9:00am
    • Lunch: scheduled lunch times during the program as determined by each school
  • High Schools:
    • May 29-June 26 Monday-Friday​​​​​​
    • Breakfast 7:30-8:00am
    • Lunch: scheduled lunch times during the program as determined by each school
Summer meals are free for any child 18 and under!
K-7

Students receive ELA and Math instruction in small groups. Held in-person by invitation only at elementary, K-8 and middle school hub sites. Please contact your school for further information.  Will be held online for TUVA students.
