The four finalists for Tucson Unified School District Superintendent will be interviewed according to the following schedule:
During the day each candidate will meet with District Leadership, tour selected facilities, and interview with the Governing Board. In the evening a community forum will be held on each day from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the auditorium of Catalina Magnet High School, 3645 E. Pima Street, during which members of the public may submit questions for the candidate to answer. The forums will be moderated by Joe Salkowski, President of the Board of the Educational Enrichment Foundation.* Community members in attendance will be given an evaluation form to complete and turn in at the end of the forum. The Governing Board will review all comments received during its discussion and consideration of the candidates.
The Governing Board expects to name a new Superintendent on November 9, 2010. The start date for the new Superintendent will be January 1 or July 1, 2011 depending upon the availability of the selected candidate.
