Board President's Message
New superintendent off to a good start
Dear TUSD Community:
We hope that you are enjoying a dynamite summer and finding creative ways to stay cool and safe in the desert heat.

As you know, Dr. Elizabeth Celania-Fagen started her job as our TUSD superintendent on Tuesday, July 1. She hit the ground running bright and early by visiting many of our employees in various departments. With the new school year right around the corner, the Governing Board and superintendent are focused on addressing critical issues facing our district today and over the long run.

With our new superintendent on the job, we are excited at the possibilities of making TUSD the best school district it can be in the months and years ahead. We ask each of you to join in the dialogue of how we can continue to build on our successes and provide the highest quality education our students deserve.

On behalf of a truly grateful Governing Board, thank you to each one of you for your many contributions that support our students and school district.
