Multicultural Student Services 2013 Recognition Ceremonies

This spring, TUSD's multicultural student services departments are recognizing outstanding students during ceremonies. Congratulations to the students whose academic and personal growth and accomplishments are being recognized!

African American Student Services

When: 6:00 p.m., May 13, 2012
Where: University of Arizona, Student Union Grand Ballroom

Every year African American Student Services brings together families and community members to celebrate the accomplishments of outstanding African American students in grades 6-12.

Asian Pacific American Student Services

When: 6:00 p.m., April 24, 2013
Where: Catalina High Magnet School, 3645 E Pima St.

Asian Pacific American Student Services department held its annual Student Recognition Program to honor outstanding high school students. The program honored 9th-12th grade students who have excelled in the areas of academics, volunteer service, athletics, and fine arts.

Mexican American Student Services

When: 6:00 p.m., May 16, 2013
Where: Auditorium, Catalina High Magnet School, 3645 E Pima St.

The Mexican American Student Recognition ceremony will honor high school and middle school students district-wide for their achievements. We are celebrating students that have academically excelled, volunteered in the community, are athletically gifted and also the students that have improved the most at each site.

Native American Student Services

When: 9:00 a.m., May 11, 2013
Where: Auditorium, Cholla High Magnet School, 2001 W. Starr Pass Blvd.

In addition to high school graduates and middle school promotees, outstanding Native American students will be recognized for academic excellence, attendance, athletics, fine arts, and community service.
