Q.Where do I login to Synergy?

Q.How do I get help with Synergy?
A. We're providing Special Synergy TS Service Desk Phone Options.
Please call the TS Service Desk for Synergy assistance at 225-6333. The following new options have been set up especially for the go-live period:

Q.Why did we get a new student information system?
A. Mojave is not compliant with the system that will replace the state's Student Accountability Information System (SAIS) reporting. Also, this is great opportunity to get a really good product at a reasonable price because of Synergy®'s new status as the Statewide Student Information System.

Q.How will it affect me?
A. Principals will have more data at their fingertips. Teachers will be using a gradebook that is a fully integrated part of the Student Information System (SIS). Staff will have access on hand-held devices, and we will all benefit from a full-featured schedule loader.

The Synergy® TeacherVUE module streamlines classroom administrative tasks such as taking attendance and lunch counts, creating or modifying seating charts or student groups, entering discipline reports, and more to give teachers more time with students.

Q.Will the new system offer things that Mojave didn't?
A.It offers many new things, and there will be even more to come after the initial implementation. Some examples of new functionality are 1) reports you can configure and then schedule to run regularly and send results to people's e-mail inboxes; 2) A gradebook that is fully integrated with the official report card; 3) Extensive ParentVUE and StudentVUE content available for iOS and Android mobile devices.

Q.When do we get the new system?
A. Synergy® went live in mid-July 2016 in order to be available for the start of the 2016-17 school year.

Teachers can see an overview of student performance on a particular test using any measure (e.g., rubric, raw score, and/or scale score), as well as correlated standards.

Q.What kind of training will I get?
A. Edupoint® has completed literally hundreds of school district implementations and provides an effective "train the trainer" model which is ready for our district. The type and amount of training will vary widely for different job types, but all employees will get the training they need to complete their responsibilities using Synergy®.

Q.How will this tool help improve my teaching?
A. Synergy® will make it much easier to communicate with parents and students and to look at all the data for your students. Synergy® will also make it easier to integrate your gradebook with your curriculum and lesson plans.

Q.How can this tool improve student success?
A. Students will be able see their own data at a high level of detail. Also, the efficiency of Synergy® will give teachers and staff more time to focus on students and their needs.
