Registration Information
If your child is...
Register by May 15 to be guaranteed transportation on the first day of school. If you register for the new school year after May 15, it can take up to three weeks for routes to be established.
During the school year, stop by your your attendance area school to enroll your child.
The following Governing Board policies and regulations deal with registration:
Consult the School Health Services web site for information on immunizations your child must have before starting school.
Students must be 5 years of age before September 1 of the current school year for kindergarten and 6 years of age before September 1 to enter first grade. For more information about the required age for admission, read Board Policy JEB and Regulation JEB-R.
Age exceptions are allowable by Board Policy JEB for kindergarten and first grade students born between September 1 and December 31. For information regarding the age exceptions, call (520) 225-6415 by July 12.
