TUSD has invited the community to provide input in the first step toward building a five-year plan for Tucson Unified School District.
At the strategic planning session TUSD held on Feb. 25, about 200 students, teachers, community members, elected officials and business leaders heard presentations and offered feedback in five key areas.
Steering committees will develop goals based on feedback collected at the planning session and through a feedback form that was available on our website through March 14. TUSD will also hold public meetings to gather more input as ideas are refined.
In July, TUSD Superintendent Dr. H.T. Sánchez will present a detailed five-year plan to the governing board for approval.
