Who to Call?
If you have questions during the summer break, call School Community Services at (520) 225-6400 if your student is in elementary, K-8 or middle school. If your student is in high school, call the high school your student will attend.
During summer registration, if your child attended a non-TUSD school for 8th grade and will enroll into a TUSD high school as a freshman, please bring proof of 8th grade promotion.
Q. When should I register my child?
A. During the school year, call the school your child will attend for registration times and dates.
If your child is new to TUSD or changing schools for next school year, register at the new school prior to May 15 to be provided transportation at the start of school (provided that your child is eligible for transportation).
If your child is in an Exceptional Education program and has an IEP, bring the current IEP to the school when registering.
If your child is registered after May 15, parents/guardians will be responsible for transporting their students at the beginning of the school year. TUSD Transportation will route your child and will inform you of your bus stop assignment by mail or phone as soon as the information becomes available. (Please be sure that your school has your current address.)
Q. If I move where do I go to officially change my address?
A. During the school year, call the school your child is currently attending. Bring proof of residency and other required documents. (See the registration procedures for information about what to bring with you to register your child.)
