Give Kids the Extra Credit logo

EEF LogoAnother Great Way to Help:
The Charitable Tax Credit

Image for 'You Can Do Both'You can help TUSD kids in two ways: through contributing to the school of your choice through the Arizona Public Schools Tax Credit and through contributing to the Educational Enrichment Foundation (EEF) through the Charitable Tax Credit.

When you help the Educational Enrichment Foundation (EEF), you help TUSD kids. For decades, the EEF has helped TUSD teachers through grants, awards and more. EEF also pays for books, bus passes, and fees and provides clothes and shoes for at-risk young people.

Without contributions to schools and the Charitable Tax Credit...

  • Nearly 775 students a year would be wearing the same worn-out shoes they wore the year before.
  • More than 200 kids wouldn't be able to see the board in their classroom.
  • 778 students wouldn't be playing high school sports or participating in extracurricular clubs and activities.

EEF, along with business and community partners, provides a new pair of shoes and socks to kids who need them each year.

EEF teams with LensCrafters to provide eye exams and glasses for those who need them.

EEF provides scholarships to cover the fees for participation in extracurricular sports, clubs, and activities.
