Schoolwide Programs
A schoolwide program is a comprehensive reform strategy designed to upgrade the entire educational program in a school. The primary goal is to ensure that all students, particularly those who are struggling to meet state standards, demonstrate proficient and advanced levels of achievement on AIMS assessment.

Targeted Assistance Program
If a school receives Title I funds in accordance with the TUSD’s Title I eligibility criteria and does not operate an approved schoolwide program (either because it is in the first year they have been eligible for Title I funding, or the District has not yet approved their schoolwide plan, or the school chooses not to offer a schoolwide program) then the school is a targeted assistance school. In a targeted assistance school students are selected for and receive services based on academic achievement.
