Clothing/Toys
Dress
Your Child in Comfortable Clothes
Please send your child dressed in clothing that is comfortable
and appropriate for school. Your child will be involved in active
and, sometimes, messy play. When weather temperatures vary, please
send a sweater or jacket, or dress your child in layers of clothing.
Shoes are required to ensure your child's safety on the playground.
Please do not send your child in shoes that are thongs, flip flops, or cowboy boots.
Extra Change of Clothing
Your child will need an extra change of clothing, including
the following items:
- underwear
- pants
- shirt
- socks
Children will feel more comfortable changing into their own clothing if a change is needed.
Label Clothing and Other Items
Please label all items and clothing brought from home with your
child's name. This includes backpacks, change of clothes, jackets,
etc.
Toys
Please keep your child's personal toys and other play items at home.
If you child wants to bring items from home for a special purpose,
please discuss that with the teacher.
No guns, war toys, or other toys that promote aggression or destruction are allowed on school premises.
