Parent and Child Education (PACE)

Attendance

Student drawingChildren are expected to attend daily. Your child benefits most from the program when he/she attends regularly. Please bring your child to school every day unless he/she is ill.

If your child will not be in school because of illness or family business, please call the classroom and notify your child's teacher, stating the reason for his/her absence.

Please drop off and pick up your child on time.

If your child is absent for ten (10) days without notice, or if your child is chronically picked up late, he/she may be dropped from the PACE program.

Hours
Children enrolled in PACE attend school four hours a day, Monday through Friday. It is your responsibility to drop your child off and pick your child up on time. If an emergency arises and you are unable to pick your child up on time, please call the school and notify the PACE teacher. The teacher will reassure your child that you or someone you have authorized will be there soon. If you are chronically late for pickup up your child, he/she may be unable to attend the program for one or more days or may be disenrolled from the program.

Holidays
The CAPS and PACE programs follow the TUSD district calendar.
