Gifted and Talented Education
Screening for future evaluation for participation in the Gifted and Talented Education program is held in November.
Make-Up Screening
If you missed the deadline to return the permission form or if your child is absent on the date of the screening, your child can take the make-up screening on
Saturday, December 1, 2012, at
Mansfeld Middle School, 1300 E 6th. Check-in time will be
7:30-8:00 a.m.
(Students who arrive after 8:00 a.m. will be offered the make-up screening in April.)
More information about the Make-Up Screening on Dec. 1:
- Please wait for your child at Mansfeld. Screening is typically completed in 15 to 60 minutes.
- The purpose of the screening is to determine if your child is eligible for additional testing in January at his/her enrolled TUSD school.
- We will provide the necessary screening materials.
