Tucson Unified School District's Food Services Department announces the sponsorship of the 2013 Summer Food Services Program for Children. This program provides free breakfast and lunch meals during the summer break to children attending summer programs at qualifying school and non-school sites.
The meal service is also open to any child between 2 and 18 years of age living in the neighborhood who would like to participate in the meal program even if they are not registered in a summer program at that site.
Breakfast and lunch are served in school site cafeterias or in designated eating areas of the non-school sites.
The program will run from May 28, 2013 to July 26, 2013.
Note: TUSD Food Services will not operate the summer food program on July 4 and July 5.
Dates of service and meals times vary depending on the programs at each site. Please consult the schedule for individual school site programs.
Dates and times are subject to change.
