http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/flquiz1.html
FDA’s
Office of Nutritional Products, Labeling, and Dietary
Supplements (ONPLDS) would like you to try this new food
labeling educational tool – an interactive, five questions
Food Label Quiz.
The
quiz is designed to be fun and easy to navigate, yet even the
most experienced food label users should find it challenging.
The main purpose of the quiz is to provide an
entertaining way for consumers to learn how to sue the food
label for healthy eating or to enhance their current label-use
skills. The quiz
focus on:
- how to compare what one actually eats to the servings
on the label
- how to determine when a serving is high or low in a
nutrient
- how to make dietary trade-offs using the % Daily Value.
