Nutrition Resources - Library Materials
The TUSD Food Services Department provides a
Nutrition Education Library for district teachers and employees
interested in reviewing or teaching nutrition education. Please
review the list of books and videos available. To check out
materials listed call the Nutrition Education Coordinator
at 225-4758.

LOAN PROCEDURES:
The preceeding list is intended to be a guide
to the nutrition education materials available for check out
at the Tucson Unified School District Food Service Department-Central
Facility.
Materials may be borrowed by TUSD employees
for education purposes within the school district.
Loans are made on a first come, first serve
basis.
The quantity of materials may be limited due
to availablity.
Generally loans are for 1 to 2 weeks.The Nutrition
Education Coordinator must be contacted for permission to
extend the loan period.In most instances the extension can
be granted.
The original borrower may not loan materials
to other individuals.
Borrowers must rewind
videos and audio tapes sand return in original casing.
The late return of loaned materials or carelessness
in handling may result in the suspension of borrow in privileges
and/or an assessed fee.
Request to borrow materials may be made directly
to the Food Service Manager on school site or by contacting

Borrowed materials may be returned through the
Food Service Site Manager via food service interdepartmental
mail, or in person to the Food Service Central Facility, 2150
E. 15th Street (at Plumer, 3 blocks south of Broadway
Blvd.).
