What Do You Do First?

  • Supervisor or Office Manager
    • Is the employee bleeding profusely, does he or she have a visible broken bone, or is he or she unconscious?
      CALL 911
    • Is the employee stable, talking, and able to move about? Sit down with him or her and call the Nurse Triage at The Alliance to report the claim:
    • Follow the Alliance nurse's instructions for home care or going to one of the clinics.

  • What to do if you have to call 911
    Employee, Supervisor, or Office Manager: 
    • Insure emergency personnel have clear and unobstructed access to the injured worker.
    • Keep students and other employees away from the area.
    • Notify the employee's emergency contact person.
    • As soon as possible call The Alliance at 1-888-252-4689 to report the claim.
  • All Injuries Must be Reported!
    If you are injured on the job you and your supervisor must call:
